WHO YA’ GONNA CALL - HABIT BUSTERS

Everybody has HABITS - some are good, some are not-so-good and some are just plain BAD. And you will know that they are “habits” because you just DO them…involuntarily. And the reason is that you have repeated these behaviours so frequently - over and over again - in exactly the same situations and circumstances that they just seem as if second nature to you.

Now GOOD HABITS generally don’t do anybody any harm but our BAD HABITS are unfavourable or destructive either to ourselves or others and are largely performed subconsciously and in a highly predictable manner. Often times, a BAD HABIT will fulfil some sort of short-term craving and you might not even recognise them as “BAD HABITS” because by their repetitive nature they have become commonplace - you are so used to doing them that they don’t even feel BAD.

Let’s list just a few BAD HABITS -some obvious and others not:

Smoking - alcoholism - procrastination - over-eating - chronic lateness - negative thinking - compulsive gambling - over spending - nail biting and even depression.
